1. Initiated and lead Project MINERVA (MINiature HelicoptEr for Research on Vehicle Autonomy) as the basis of multidisciplinary research on small scale helicopter in the university
2. Co-founded and co-direct Center for Unmanned System Studies-ITB, a research center focusing on the design and development of autonomous aerial, underwater and ground vehicles
3. Organized the International Conference on Intelligent Unmanned System (ICIUS2007), Bali 2007, the first specialized conference in the field of unmanned system in the region
