In the flesh

When we see life as a journey, sometime we feel that we need to make a stop at a certain corner of the road. I recharge and refresh myself by reading books. Various genres. I like critical writings by Carl Sagan and popular physics by Stephen Hawking. Crispy documentaries about evolution of technology by eloquent physicist Michio Kaku are stimulating.

I take pleasure in reading novels like Nijushi no hitomi (Twenty four eyes), Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman, Antoine De Saint - Exupery's The Little Prince and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. These books are not only a beautiful read but also rejuvenating. They show how Einstein is right about our greatest gift, the mind. In our vastly changing world, knowledge is indispensable. However, there is something more important than knowledge. It is our imagination.

I enjoy playing tennis. Occasionally I play golf during a conference travel. I recently developed a new interest in photography and movie making. Check out my first video project.
